This 3-day instructor course brings the new phases of technology for police sidearms. Optic systems have been part of the police rifle family for many years. It is now, that the optics are growing in the use by many police agencies nationwide. They are one of the most effective tools available to law enforcement officers as it allows for officers to work threat identification faster with both eyes open. For us, we have always preached the concept of being able to “see your threat fully” without having specific eyes closed and once the basic mastered skills are applied, officers will be able to threat assess subjects much clearer. Keeping the threat in focus is one of the key areas of use of force analysis.
Ballistic Shield Instructor Program With Marrero Armor

The tactical shield can be a very effective tool for tactical teams as well as first responders utilizing during active shooter situations even though many agencies fail to understand the full potential of this versatile piece of equipment. This course will explore the many uses of the tactical shield allowing the Trainer as well as end-user to train in a variety of scenarios. The trainer will be able to select and develop techniques that will best work in their situations as well as teach concepts of entry work and movement operations with the shield. It is imperative that trainers understand the importance of good conditioning when utilizing this excellent tool. This program will cover the proper use of our Marrero Armor Tactical Shield. Officers will also be trained on the use of an assorted variety of other shields that are available in the market today regardless of the manufacturer. It is recommended students bring their current shields available from their agency.
